Group ICT Manager

This role involves leading and coordinating cross-functional teams, driving constant innovation, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement; leading and managing change initiatives within the ICT teams at Group and subsidiary levels, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities:

  • ICT Strategy & Digital Transformation: Continue developing and implementing the ICT roadmap aligned with business goals, driving productivity and digital innovation across the Group.
  • Change Management: Lead ICT-related parts of the Tschudi Wave transformation program, managing change initiatives effectively, including employee training and overcoming resistance.
  • Cross-Departmental Coordination: Ensure ICT projects align with business objectives and facilitate effective communication across teams.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Training: Secure stakeholder support and conduct training to prepare employees for changes.
  • Risk & Performance Management: Identify risks, create mitigation strategies, and establish KPIs to measure project success.
  • Innovation & Team Leadership: Promote new technologies, continuous improvement, and manage the ICT team, including recruitment and training.
  • Vendor & Budget Oversight: Manage vendor relations, negotiate contracts, and oversee ICT budgeting for optimal cost management.
  • Infrastructure, Security & Compliance: Ensure reliable system infrastructure, robust cybersecurity, and compliance with GDPR.

Qualifications and required skills:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in ICT management, ideally in an international setting.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of cloud services, network management, server administration, cybersecurity, GDPR compliance.
  • Strategic planning, change management & leadership skills.
  • Project management & communication skills.
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to effectively "sell" ideas and solutions to stakeholders.
  • Innovation, problem-solving, data analysis skills.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • ITIL, Prosci, or similar change management credentials is preferred.
