International teamwork between our offices
As a global organisation, we benefit from the close collaberation between our various offices. This enables us to provide our clients with optimal solutions whereever required. This is particularly relevant for our logistics team with offices in 10 countries.
Tschudi Logistics in Europe, Asia and Africa recently teamed up to organize a transport of a heavy boiler from China to Nigeria. Our Finnish client contacted our team in Turku who then proceeded to plan the transport together with our Chinese team. The project involved collecting the cargo from an inland location in China, road transport to a nearby port, feeder barge to a main Chinese port and then ocean freight to Nigeria.
Carefully planning, attention to detail and good communication ensured a smooth operation of this complex and oversized cargo.
