Streamlined and ready to go!

Tschudi has a long history from providing offshore support services worldwide, and we are still there. Today focus is on offering tailored solutions to the offshore wind sector, wherever our clients need us.

To enhance our presence, Tschudi Ship Management Holland (TSM Holland) has recently joined the Amsterdam IJmuiden Offshore Ports Association (AYOP). Joining a networking Association offers numerous benefits - providing valuable opportunities for forging new business relationships, knowledge sharing, plus enhancing a company’s visibility and reputation within the industry.

Experience from the shipping industry

On the recent membership our Chartering & Operations Manager at TSM Holland, Paul Mengelder comments: “We come from the shipping industry ourselves, so we work from the perspective of shipowners. We are part of a relatively small Norwegian company, which means we have very short lines of communication and can be flexible. This allows us to offer many customized solutions. We work individually, but we are truly a part of the Tschudi group. We are originally active in the offshore sector and want to stay there. We now have several walk-to-work ships under management and would like to expand in that segment.”

A sea of opportunities in ship management

Paul comments further: "TSM Holland in IJmuiden now mainly focuses on business development and operational management within the Tschudi Group. But we also have a logistics company in Rotterdam in the Netherlands, and we can scale up internationally through the Group. So, there is a lot possible. We are not afraid of things we have never done before: if someone else can do it, then we can too."

Strengthening international ties

The drive of TSM Holland has not gone unnoticed by AYOP director Dionne Ruurda: “The extensive history of Tschudi Ship Management in the offshore sector means that there is a lot of knowledge that can be shared with other AYOP members. Additionally, the headquarters is in Norway, allowing us to strengthen ties there through this new member. We are therefore pleased that we have been able to add TSM Holland to our membership.”

AYOP represents over 125 companies, regional governments, and research/education institutes active in offshore oil & gas and wind energy in the North Sea Canal and Noord Holland region. We look forward to constructive events, and we trust that we can contribute with our knowledge and experience and at the same time learn from and cooperate with others. Thank you AYOP for welcoming us.
